Mission

At Springfield, we value the uniqueness and importance of each person. We look upon education as an integrated whole, preparing our pupils to reach their potential – spiritually, intellectually, physically and socially – so that they may take their place in society.

Vision

Dominican schools aim to provide forward looking education of the highest quality, based on a tradition that goes back over seven hundred years of commitment to education. Our schools seek to care for the whole person in order to develop in young people a love for learning, an enthusiasm for truth, a love for others, respect for culture and religious values of all, a willingness to serve in a spirit of healing and reconciliation, flowing from an appreciation of the Word of God and deep commitment to Christ.

Missie

Ons koester die unikheid en waarde van elke person. Ons besef dat die opvoeding van ons leerders holisties moet plaasvind.  Sodoende sal elke leerling hul volle potensiaal bereik: op intelektuelle, fisiese, sosiale, emosionele, morele en spirituele vlak.  Op hierdie manier sal leerlinge waardige lede van die samelewing wees.

Visie

Dominikaanse skole poog daarin om vooruitstewende opvoeding van ‘n hoe gehalte to bied.  Dit spruit vanuit ‘n tradisie wat 700 jaar terug in die geskiedenis strek met die doelstelling om die onderrig van leerlinge ‘n prioriteit te maak.  Ons skole poog daarin om na die hele mens om te sien om sodoende die volgende in jong mense te ontwikkel: ‘n Liefde vir ondderig, entoesiasme as dit by die waarheid kom, ‘n liefde vir hul medemens, ‘n respek vir alle mense se culture, waardes en geloof, om bereid te wees om in deel te wees van ‘n proses van versoening en geneesing as gevolg van die word van die Here en toewydheid tot Christus.
