Springfield offers a dynamic, interactive curriculum based on the Curriculum Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) which is enhanced and further developed by a group of highly talented and extremely dedicated staff. The Curriculum is at the forefront of Primary School education in South Africa and focuses predominantly on developing the whole child inclusive of the development of necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes and values in a faith based environment. The curriculum is thoroughly integrated and includes an outstanding Physical Education and Sport Programme and an exceptional Music Syllabus offering learners the opportunity of learning a wide range of musical instruments.

Our classes are small and classrooms are fitted with a computer, data projectors, whiteboards and interactive smart boards. Springfield also has an excellent and well-resourced Media Centre/Library.
Our Learning Support Centre provides pupils with the opportunity to engage in skills that deal with providing support for a variety of challenges to learning where necessary. The department also offers a dynamic and extremely creative academic enrichment programme for pupils from Grade 1 to 7.

A large emphasis is placed on the development of Information Technology skills which form an integral part of all Learning Areas and is taught as an individual subject. Our Computer Laboratory is a state-of-the-art centre with WIFI and internet access.
The new modern facility Art Centre is fitted with numerous resources and tools in order to allow our girls to engage and develop a wide range of these necessary creative skills. The Physical Science laboratory provides the girls with an additional opportunity to engage in a variety of scientific investigations and interesting experiments.
