My School Card
My School Card
Do you have a My School Card? It is an easy way for you to earn valuable income for the school which is used by the PTA for important projects in and around the school as well as towards our many charities that we actively support. Simply show your My School Card when you shop at places like Woolworths, the majority of the Engen convenience stores, Bargain Books, Perky Pets, Toys 'r Us, Super Quick, Club Travel, Kalahari.Net, Waltons, Reggies, Getahead, Jacks Paints, Altech Netstar, Toner Town, Write Shoppe and lots of other shops.
These establishments have shown that they are genuine partners in education and they send a portion of the proceeds of your shopping to your nominated school.
Your help in arranging a card for yourself or indeed organising a card for your extended family, friends and companies will go a long way in making a difference and raising funding for important school projects both in and out of Springfield.
There are several ways of applying for the card or updating your information.

My School Card Competition (544KB)
The MySchool fundraising programme invites you to participate in a national inter-school competition that supports fundraising, encourages community development and rewards excellence. The competition runs over a twelve month period from Jan 2011 to Dec 2011 with quarterly and grand prizes. There are over R45 000 worth of quarterly prizes to be won, including inter-active Smart white boards for the school. The winning school will also have the opportunity to nominate a locally under resourced school to receive a donation of R10 000 every quarter. Wow - that is pure incentive enough!
To win the allocation prizes, each school will compete to generate the highest scores which will be weighted and accumulated in the following manner. a) The growth of average funds raised per supporter (60% of the score), b) the growth in number of active supporters (30% of the score) and c) the number of profile updates (10% of the score).
Let's give this exciting competition our full efforts and make the difference all round!
